Free Energy Sources

Posted by admin on 26 December 2009

There has been much debate about what is often called “free” energy—energy that can supposedly, with the right technology, be drawn straight out of the atmosphere, and in very abundant supply. The public debate about whether the material really exists or not, what it would really cost were it to be harnessed, and if it does exist is it sincerely as abundant and effective as it's being made out to be by advocators of research and development into this potential alternative energy source.

When one hears the phrase “free energy device”, one might be hearing about one of several different concepts. This might mean a device for collecting and transmitting energy from some source that orthodox science does not recognize; a device which collects energy at absolutely no cost; or an example of the legendary perpetual motion machine. Needless to say, a perpetual motion machine—a machine which drives itself, forever, once turned on, consequently demanding no energy input ever again and never running out of energy—is out of the question. However, it is not so simple to say that a new technology for harnessing the energy “floating” in the atmosphere is impossible. New technologies replace old ones all the time with abilities that had just been “impossible”. Harnessing the power of the atom for providing huge amounts of energy was “impossible” until the 1940s. Flying human beings were an “impossible” thing until the turn of the 20th century and the Wright Brothers' flight.

The biggest claim of the proponents of “free” energy is that enormous amounts of energy can be drawn from the Zero Point Field. This is a quantum mechanical state of matter for a defined system which is attained when the system is at the lowest possible energy state that it can be in. This is called the “ground state” of the system. Zero Point Energy (ZPE) is sometimes referred to as “residual” energy and it was first proposed to be usable as an alternative form of energy way back in 1913 by Otto Stern and Albert Einstein. It is also referred to as “vacuum energy” in studies of quantum mechanics, and it is supposed to represent the energy of totally empty space. This energy field within the vacuum has been likened to the froth at the base of a waterfall by one of the principal researchers into and proponents of Hal Puthof. Puthof also explains, the term 'zero-point' merely means that if the universe were cooled off to absolute zero wherever all thermal agitation effects would be frozen out, this energy would still persist. What isn't as well known, however, even amidst practicing physicists, are all the logical implications that descend from this known aspect o quantum physics. However, there are a group of physicists—myself and colleagues at several research labs and universities—who are examining the details, we ask such questions as whether it might be possible to ‘mine’ this reservoir of energy for use as an alternative energy source, or whether this background energy field might be responsible for inertia and gravity. These questions are of interest because it is known that this energy can be manipulated, and therefore there is the possibility that the control of this energy, and possibly inertia and gravity, might yield to engineering solutions. Some advancement has been made in a subcategory of this field (cavity quantum electrodynamics) with reference to controlling the emission rates of excited atoms and molecules, of interest in laser research and elsewhere.

High Gasoline Prices Requires Change

Posted by admin on 04 December 2009

Over the many years since the automobile was first rolled out onto a roadway, Americans have had a fascination and almost an obsession with vehicles of all types. However, with the way that the price of gas has skyrocketed in the last few years, many people are less in love with their cars and looking for ways to economize. And, since the oil industry insiders say that gasoline prices will continue to increase, people are either looking for alternatives or are settling in and adjusting to the greater expense of operating a car.

There are numerous ways in which the high gasoline prices of today impact people and society in general. Certainly, there is an increase in prices across the board because the most basic cost of transportation has risen and businesses are left with no option but to pass along their higher costs to their customers, whether that customer is another company or the end consumer.

When gasoline prices begin to rise, soon the cost of all kinds of other things increase too because of the higher cost of fuel to manufacture and distribute goods. Then the companies have no choice but to pass their increased costs on until the retail prices paid by consumers is impacted, and in most cases it is the end consumer who will ultimately end up paying through the nose for it all.

Both companies and individuals are currently busy seeking the best solutions they can find to try to reduce gas consumption and get better fuel economy for their vehicles. The high gasoline prices that have already arrived and which are predicted to rise even higher have motivated more and more people to look at alternative fuels.

By the way, if you are one of the people fed up with high gas prices “Click Here

Companies that are very much reliant on gasoline and diesel fuel to operate are searching for viable solutions to help stem the tide of rising costs and keep their prices from skyrocketing, which in turn will help them to remain competitive in an economy that is struggling under the burden of higher gas prices. Some of these companies are replacing their fleets of vehicles with new cars and trucks that are more fuel efficient and deliver better fuel economy. Other companies are “going green” and looking to biofuels as one of their solutions, while still others are adding hybrid vehicles to their fleets.

Drivers are increasingly on the lookout for viable solutions that can help them offset the ever fluctuating gasoline prices at the pumps these days. More and more people are trying to downsize from mini-vans and SUVs and are buying smaller new cars that are more fuel efficient and less expensive to operate. Others are opting for car pooling, riding their bike, or taking the bus to work whenever possible to ease the pain of filling up.

Gasoline prices are on everyone’s minds these days. Most people have had to double their weekly budgeted amount of money so that they can fill their car’s gas tanks. That means that there is less money for groceries, medical expenses and living expenses. The gas crisis has hit everyone’s pockets. Unfortunately there is not an easy solution in sight for lowering gas prices. It may be time to take matters into your own hands and rethink how you drive. You may have to turn to alternative fuel sources. You have to educate yourself if you want to keep your budget.

Alternative Energy Of The Future

Posted by admin on 01 December 2009

Alternative energy is quickly becoming more prominent nowadays, and environmental concern is no longer just reserved for the tree huggers. People are starting to wake up and realize that our planet is slowly being destroyed by pollution and a lack of responsibility for the environment. Alternative energy is slowly emerging as a viable industry, and it is not yet clear which companies have the best solutions for the future. This actually makes the alternative energy sector ideal for Exchange Traded Funds, which are ideal for spreading risk among the stocks of various companies and technologies. This Earth4Energy review explains how you can make an impact by yourself. There may also be future technologies for the transformation of coal to a clean source of energy.

Alternative energy sources must be developed so that everyone on Earth can have reliable, efficient and environmentally friendly ways to run their cars, power their manufacturing plants, and heat and cool their businesses, schools, and homes. Alternative energy simply describes energy sources that are used as an alternative to fossil fuels. Earth 4 Energy is a manual that will let you generate electricity on your own. Generally speaking, it indicates energies that are nontraditional and have a small impact on the environment. Alternative energy technologies such as photovoltaics, wind turbines or biofuels attempt to harvest the abundance of nature’s power.

The renewed interest in this field of study comes from the undesirable effects of pollution (which can be seen all over the world), both from burning fossil fuels and from nuclear waste byproducts. Alternative energy is a long term growth industry. As the economies of the world continue to grow, energy consumption will rise. It is not even that much more expensive to build an energy efficient house or automobile. Alternative energy grants from national governments can act as a driving force in developing viable alternative energy for our daily consumption.

Solar energy continues to have potential, but it is not quite yet economically viable, nor will it be able to supply more than a small fraction of our energy use for another 10-20 years. The Review Earth4Energy site is dedicated to informing the public about how they can save the environment. Solar panels can provide plentiful power during the long hours of summer sun, but wind generators should be added to help support these systems through the winter months. Solar energy would obviously be a key part of achieving full energy independence.

Cars Run On Water – Water As A Replacement For Gasoline?

Posted by admin on 13 May 2009

With the current economic crisis, a lot of people are forced to look for a better, cheaper alternative to gas even though gas prices have dropped considerably in the last few months.

And one of the solutions that come to people’s mind is water. For the last 20 years, scientists have done a series of experiments for the possibility of using water as gasoline replacement.

The use of water as gasoline replacement is no longer a dream today, with advance technology today, it is possible to have cars run on water.

Your car can really run on water. Even though not 100% using water, but the small amount of gasoline needed is a lot smaller than purely using gasoline as your main fuel. You can experience an increase in mileage as high as 100%.

2. Use The Power Of Gasoline And Water

Water is used as the main fuel. But in order to successfully use water as a fuel, the water must be passed through a series of chemical reaction. This chemical reaction needs a small amount of gasoline.

3. The Chemical Reaction

The chemical reaction works in this way: gasoline used as a mixture with water. The water then will produce what called Brown Gas. This Brown Gas that will fuel your car engine and provide three times more power than gasoline.

4. The Benefits Of Using Water As Fuel

The number one benefit is of course the increase in mileage. Many cases have been reported an increase as high as 100%. You will save a lot of money.

Another benefit is cleaner emission. You will create a healthy environment for yourself, family, friends and children.

Also this system will reduce the temperature of your engine car therefore giving prolonged lifespan for your car.

Can you imagine how much money you save from prolonged engine and cheaper fuel? Making this system something you can’t afford to miss.

Ozzie Freedom Water4Gas is a guide that will show you how to convert your car to run on water. The process is simple and Water4Gas will show you step by step how to do it. Read my Water4Gas review and learn how you can start saving money on gas today.

Go Green and Save Green with Residential Solar Electric Power

Posted by admin on 15 April 2009

If you thought that solar panels were just novelty items for hippies and rich home owners, that misconception is dead wrong now. In the past decade especially, technological innovations have brought photovoltaic panels down into a price range that the mainstream public can afford. At no higher a cost than a new car, residential solar electric power can make you energy independent immediately following installation. If you produce enough power, you can even make a profit on your investment. As you'll find out, there are many benefits associated with residential solar electric power, and there are few reasons left why you would not want a system installed on your own house.

Depending on where you live, the efficiency of your solar panels may be higher or lower than what the panels are officially rated. The more sunlight you receive each day, the more effective the panels will be. Those in wintry climates stand to benefit the least from residential solar electric power, although newer models now provide a reasonable alternative to fossil fuels and the power grid. Additionally, some solar panels rotate with the sun to pick up even more sunlight instead of being in a fixed position, which would limit the amount of sun that they receive in a given day. All of these technologies work together to optimize electrical output of the panels, and they will continue to be improved each year.

Energy Investment

It's possible that you can receive tax benefits from going green. Not only that, but you will also be able to save thousands of dollars each year on your energy bill. That's because sunlight is completely free, and it won't run out for billions of years. Residential solar electric power makes you energy independent today. As viable electric cars are introduced in the years to come, with the Chevy Volt being the first, you can completely eliminate your personal dependence on fossil fuels. In some locations, home owners also decide to supplement their energy needs with a wind turbine, although wind turbines are usable in less areas than solar electric power generation.

In an economy where you aren't sure if you'll keep your job from one year to the next, it's vital to have a reliable source of energy that you can always count on. It's so easy to install that a basic knowledge of electrical work will allow you to install residential solar electric power systems yourself onto your home. You can purchase them in kits or buy the parts separately for increased versatility. Although the price might be disheartening to look at, the cost of continued reliance on fossil fuels is much greater.

Alternative Fuels Will Be Required Soon

Posted by admin on 06 November 2008

Over the course of the last three decades, the US has had to triple the amount of crude oil that it must import to keep Americans driving. Every day brings with it America’s thirst for oil and its derivative fuels to the tune of more than 12 million barrels that are consumed day in and day out by the vast array of vehicles that swarm the roadways in the US.

The 12 million barrels of imported oil makes up a bit more than half of the 20 million barrels of crude oil that is consumed each day across the country. The vast majority of the fuels produced are used to power various types of transportation modes that rely on fossil fuel and the largest portion of transportation fuel consumption is attributed to consumers who use the gasoline to power their favorite vehicles. Unfortunately, the faster the United States increases it usage of and reliance on oil and gas, the faster the oil reserves of the planet will be depleted.

Those in the industry are warning that in another 30 years the world supply of crude oil is expected to be significantly depleted and will no longer be able to meet the demands for petroleum-based fuels, unless there are drastic changes made in the way the major transportation methods are fueled. However, the motivation to find viable fuel alternatives seems to be low, as Americans continue to drive as much as ever, even while grumbling about the high cost of a gallon of gas.

It seems that Americans are more willing to sacrifice in other areas than they are to change their driving habits or make drastic changes in the type of transportation that they rely on to get around and get on with their daily lives. This causes those industry experts to wonder how high gasoline prices must go before people start to seriously look at renewable energy sources and alternative methods of transportation.

While there have been a few alternative fuels that have started to crop up and are bringing with them some promise, with regard to improving fuel economy through combining them with traditional gasoline or as a replacement, there still are many obstacles to widespread use and some drawbacks. The fact is that some of these fuel alternatives are simply too costly and cannot be viewed as viable alternatives, unless the price of gasoline more than doubles from the current price.

Some of the other, more cost effective fuels don’t seem to be fully capable of meeting the high expectations and demands of today’s consumers. At this stage, it appears that these alternative fuel options have not been sufficiently developed to the point where they are truly capable of being competitive, in terms of matching the availability of gasoline that American consumers are accustomed to having.

Even the most optimistic of experts say that in forty years the earth will effectively be drained of crude oil resources, leaving many questions still to be answered about how the consumption of gasoline will change in the not too distant future. The cars of the future will need to be powered by different fuels than what the world has become accustomed to, but it is still to be seen which of the alternative fuel options will take center stage and meet the needs of transportation.

Looking at Fuel Saving Devices Closely

Posted by admin on 21 October 2008

gas saving devices

Due to economic crisis all over the world, people look for ways to save. Saving may have been disregarded before but at present, whether a person likes it or not, he/she must learn how to save. Commodities are having high prices. Rich or poor, people are greatly affected. Those who have vehicles really are faced with a dilemma on how to save fuel. They ask what are fuel saving devices? This question needs to be addressed because fuel prices from time to time is increasing.

People have looked for ways to increase fuel economy. Many technologies which claim to improve fuel economy are out in the market. Before you buy fuel saving devices, you need to know what these are and how these work. Most fuel saving devices claim an increase in combustion efficiency. Surprisingly, based on studies, fuel saving devices do not work as claimed. As what is stated in Wikipedia “On modern engines there is relatively little scope for improving combustion efficiency. Most of what can be legitimately achieved is done by reducing parasitic losses of accessories e.g. fans, water pump, and pumping losses by taller vehicle gearing.”

If you are not convinced yet, you may have your own research regarding fuel saving devices. After all, the choice is yours to make. Fuel saving devices especially those advertised in the internet tell half-truths. Certainly, you would like to have the right value for your hard-earned cash. Understandably, people will fall into the trap of buying fuel saving devices for the endorsers of these products claim to have about 10-15% fuel saving, reduce emissions, improve performance, and cost about £50 (80 US$) (so costs about £5 to make!).

As a wise buyer, you want the right value for your money, right? Why don’t you look deeper into these claims? Fuel saving devices claim to have 10 to 15% fuel saving. Is this claim supported scientifically? Scientific basis is always a necessity. Granting that there is a scientific test conducted, what cars were used? Do you think modern vehicles are worn ? When test are conducted, very old cars are used. Olds cars are different with modern ones.

The next claim of fuel saving devices is on emissions reduction. Tony’s Guide to Fuel Saving Gadgets revealed that “Measurements showing emissions reduction are nearly always taken from the UK MoT test or something equivalent. This consists of measures of hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2), and is taken at idle. This completely ignores oxides of nitrogen (NOx), one of the most dangerous pollutants from car engines. It also ignores the fact that the emissions while driving are very different to the emissions at idle, because of the higher load and speed.”

If your wish is to buy one of the fuel saving devices to help you save fuel, think again. You might just have added your expenses instead of saving.
